🏆 Transcriber (Anulekhok) of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra & Compiler of “Pratuldeepti"
Respected Shri Manilal Chakraborty was a close associate and transcriber of Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra. He was born on 2nd February 1930 in Noakhali, Bangladesh. He completed his graduation from City College under the University of Calcutta.
He first met Thakur in 1949, and in 1953 he became a permanent resident of the Ashram. The period from 1960 to 1964 marked the most significant phase of his life, during which he had the rare opportunity to sit in close proximity to Thakur and meticulously record his conversations. During these years, he experienced profound personal interaction—seeing him, listening to him, and engaging with him directly.
One of the most memorable moments of his life was when Thakur encouraged him to complete his M.A., which he considered a great blessing and guidance.
He was also entrusted with the sacred responsibility of serving as the chief editor for the publication of The Message (Volumes 2 to 9). Additionally, he was the compiler of “Pratuldeepti”.
