Inspiration
The inspiration behind Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Foundation – “One World, One Family” – comes from the life-affirming philosophy of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra. His teachings emphasize that the wellbeing of one is deeply connected to the wellbeing of all.
The Beginning (March 2023)
In March 2023, Shri Shri Acharyadev inspired an initiative to understand the basic needs of human beings and how compassionate service can address those needs in a meaningful way.
Collective Discussions
Over the following year, discussions were held under guidance and blessings, focusing on education, wellbeing, and spiritual development—building a vision rooted in service and unity.
Vision Established (May 2024)
By May 2024, the mission became clear, and the organization was blessed with the name Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Foundation, reflecting the timeless idea that the whole world is one family.
Foundation Established (July 2024)
On 11 July 2024, the foundation was formally established, committed to compassion, holistic wellbeing, and collective growth of humanity.
