“Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra” Invited “VK Foundation” for Mental Health Awareness Workshop on Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra’s Birthday

16th September 2024: “Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra” – A spiritual sanctuary inspired by the wisdom of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra is highly focusing on human mental well-being. In a significant initiative to promote mental well-being, Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra extended a special invitation to the VK Foundation to conduct a Mental Health Awareness Workshop on the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra. The event, held in honor of the spiritual leader’s enduring legacy of mental, emotional, and spiritual upliftment, aimed to bring attention to the critical role of mental health in building a harmonious and fulfilling life.
On October 11, 2015, the Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra was blessed with the sacred guidance of Satsang Present Acharyadeb Sri Akradyuti Chakrabarty (known as Babai Da) , who delivered a profound message of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra to the devotees. His Holiness emphasized the need to strengthen focus on three key pillars: Satsang (spiritual gatherings), Diksha (spiritual initiation), and Ishtavriti (daily practice of offering and devotion to the chosen ideal).
Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra has a clear vision that true mental well-being and personal transformation come from a deep connection with Dharma and the Ishta (Living Supreme Being). The mothers (Maa) of Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra have long been the backbone of the spiritual community, playing a crucial role in ensuring a brighter and more peaceful tomorrow.

Their unwavering dedication to the teachings of Thakur Anukul Chandra has inspired countless individuals to embrace the pillars of Satsang, Diksha, and Ishtavriti as essential practices for mental well-being and spiritual growth.
The collaboration between Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra and VK Foundation represents a meaningful step toward integrating mental health awareness into spiritual practices. The workshop focused on practical tools for improving mental well-being, including mindfulness techniques, emotional resilience strategies, and the importance of a balanced life aligned with spiritual values.

Shri Prakash Biswas, Founder of VK Foundation, shared insights on how mental well-being is deeply connected to the teachings of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra, emphasizing that just as Dharma supports spiritual growth, mental health is essential for personal harmony and societal well-being.
He stated that “Dharma Unveiled—The Scientific Key to Life, Not a Supernatural Belief”.

During the Mental Health Awareness Workshop , a special demonstration session on sound therapy was arranged, showcasing an innovative approach to mental well-being. This session was designed to create a serene and healing environment, offering participants a unique experience of sound therapy as part of the broader mental health treatment options.
VK Foundation’s expert facilitators guided attendees through the process, explaining how sound therapy can be integrated into daily routines to support emotional balance and mental clarity. The environment was carefully curated to provide a tranquil space where participants could experience the therapeutic effects of sound in a supportive and immersive setting.

The Chairperson Mr. Sibasish Chatterjee ( SCH Expert & Psychic) and President Mrs. Prajna Biswas (SCH Expert, Hypno Therapy Expert, PLRT Expert) emphasized how sound and vibrational therapy offer significant benefits in mental health treatment. They explained that these therapies are not merely complementary practices but integral components of a comprehensive approach to mental wellness. By leveraging the healing power of sound and vibrations, individuals can experience:
- Enhanced Relaxation: The soothing frequencies of sound therapy help calm the mind, reducing stress and promoting a deep state of relaxation.
- Reduced Anxiety: Vibrational therapy can aid in lowering anxiety levels by creating a balanced and harmonious environment, which supports emotional stability.
- Improved Emotional Balance: Regular exposure to therapeutic sounds helps in achieving emotional equilibrium, fostering resilience and mental clarity.
This demonstration emphasized VK Foundation’s commitment to exploring diverse and holistic approaches to mental well-being, underscoring the importance of incorporating such therapies alongside traditional practices for a comprehensive mental health strategy.

By holding this workshop on the revered birthday of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra, Bhadrakali Satsang Kendra reiterated its commitment to promoting mental well-being alongside spiritual development, ensuring a better tomorrow for all.
